Rental Cancellation Policy

1. General Cancellation Terms

  • Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the scheduled hire start time will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule, subject to availability.
  • Cancellations made between 24–48 hours before the hire start time are eligible for a 50% refund or the option to reschedule once without penalty.
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the hire start time are non-refundable, unless required under consumer guarantees.
  • No-shows or failure to collect equipment without notice will be treated as a late cancellation with no refund issued.

2. Early Returns

  • Returning equipment early does not entitle the Hirer to a partial refund, unless required by law.
  • Exceptions may be made for illness, injury, or severe weather at the discretion of Bike Force Joondalup.

3. Weather Policy

  • We operate in all weather conditions unless deemed unsafe (e.g., severe storms or local authority warnings).
  • If Bike Force Joondalup cancels due to weather, customers will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.

4. Rescheduling Policy

  • You may reschedule your booking once, free of charge, provided you notify us at least 24 hours in advance.
  • Additional rescheduling requests may incur an administrative fee, the amount of which will be determined at Bike Force Joondalup’s discretion.

5. Refund Method

  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7 business days.
  • We are not responsible for any delays caused by financial institutions.

6. Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

This policy operates alongside your rights under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) and the Fair Trading Act 2010 (WA). You are entitled to a refund or replacement if the service is not provided with due care and skill, is unfit for purpose, or is not delivered as agreed.
