Tom Ritchey has been designing mountain bikes and components for over fifty years. His latest MTB grip offering, the Ritchey WCS EGP Locking Grips, is a testament to his design heritage - ensuring that you can perform comfortably and trustingly in every ride situation, no matter the conditions.
The heart of the EGP grips is Tom’s patented Python self-tightening helical core design - a spiral inner grip surface designed to literally constrict around the bar when the grip starts to twist, ensuring no slippage. Fastened onto the bar with an integrated lock ring, the confidence of the immovable EGP grips is well complimented with wisely considered ergonomics. Built with dual-density polyurethane, the grip’s welcoming cushioning is enhanced by a slightly broader flare at the outer end of the grip to offer support and pressure dissipation for the hand.
