The Shimano PD-R8000 SPD Road Cycling Pedal has been specifically engineered for more power transfer from your foot through the pedal. It is a lightweight, energy efficient pedal with a wide, low-profile cleat which manages the energy from your foot to the bike. It can transfer power through extreme pedalling loads without losing energy through flex. It has a longer axle so that it adds 4mm between the crank and foot position. This is pedal would suit anyone intending to race and stand on podiums.
