They are rated UPF 50+ and are made with lightweight moisture wicking fabric to keep you cool, dry and comfortable on hot days. The flat seam construction reduces chaffing and it has a silicon band to keep it in place on your upper arm. Easy to pull on and off and light and compact to carry in your back pocket.
